Curt Olson is Chief of Staff at Delaware Life Marketing, a Group 1001 company. Since joining DLM in 2018, Curt has played a central role in building and scaling the organization’s distribution engine. He founded the National Sales Consulting team, the advanced markets group, and in 2020, launched DLM’s first direct wholesale team. Under his leadership, the firm’s annuity sales grew from $1.8 billion to $5.4 billion in just five years.

Before stepping into the Chief of Staff role, Curt served as SVP, National Sales Manager, where he led the charge in transforming the company’s distribution strategy and field presence. His earlier experience includes serving as EVP of Enterprise Sales at MoneyGuidePro (a PieTech company), and Vice President of Relationship Management at Symetra. He began his financial services career on the Board of Options Exchange with The Chicago Corporation, then held key roles at Kemper Funds, RBC Wealth Management (where he led the annuity department), Sun Life Financial, and MFS Fund Distributors.

Throughout his career, Curt has remained focused on building high-performing teams, fostering innovation, and driving sustainable growth. He also held an early Board position with the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI), reflecting his long-standing commitment to industry leadership.

A lifelong musician, Curt has balanced his professional drive with a deep passion for music, golf, pickleball, travel, and reading. He and his wife, Katy, have been married for 38 years and raised four children together, sharing a life anchored in family, faith, and adventure.
